A Delhi Girl, Zoi Is The First Indian To Participate In A Thai Show, ‘Chuang Asia’ To Become An Idol

Korean pop music is all the rage in the world right now. People from all around the globe are going gaga over the music genre, and even Indians are actively consuming the genre and making it a part of their culture. One such K-pop fan from India, Zoi, participated in a Thai pop show where contestants get an opportunity to become a pop idol. The show invites several girls to showcase their dancing and singing skills on the show and at the end, nine girls will be short-listed who will be groomed and promoted by the show makers as a girl’s pop group. 

Zoi is the first Indian to participate in a Thai-pop based reality show

Zoi is the third popular aspiring K-pop idol from India. Before her, two more Indian girls have become K-pop idols, but none has ever participated in a reality TV show. The show is judged by Jackson Wang, a popular singer and rapper from China, and Mike Angelo, a Thai-based actor; Jeff Satur, Ten of NCT, and Nene of BonBon Girls. These mentors train the aspiring idols and groom them to become idols. Zoi, a girl from India, is the first to ever participate in a show like this.
