The talented artist also mentioned that he went through a lot of financial trouble with his sisters and mom. Talking along the same line, A.R. Rahman stated that the burden he carried and shared with his mom made him what he is today, and it helps him to make grounded decisions even today. He said:
“One thing I was very clear about; whatever money I leave for anyone, it’ll disappear in a day if they are not smart enough and don’t understand the legacy. I went through so much financial trouble along with my mom and sisters, but those lessons — the burden that I shared with my mom — made me who I am today. Even now, those experiences help me make grounded decisions.”
