Abhay Deol Recalls His Teacher Humiliating Him In Class Because Of His Family, ‘She Didn’t Like..’

Abhay Deol, a renowned Bollywood actor, made his debut back in 2005 with the movie, Socha Na Tha. Apart from that, he was seen in several Hindi films such as Manorama Six Feet Under, Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!, Dev.D, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Aisha, among so many others. Abhay is the nephew of Bollywood actor, Dharmendra, and being from the Deol family brought him a whole lot of fame as well. In a recent interview, Abhay shared how being from a well-known filmy family proved to be a bit harsh for him in his childhood.

Abhay Deol talks about being confused about people’s attitudes towards him during his childhood

Abhay Deol recently sat for an interview with Humans of Bombay, wherein he shared his anecdotes from his childhood. He shared that during the time, he was in school, he never knew what to expect from the outside world, as some of the people were extremely favourable, and others seemed to be harsh, which was due to him belonging to a filmy family. He said that people thought him to be privileged but underserving. Abhay can be quoted as saying:

“I never knew what to expect—either some were overly favourable, or they were extremely harsh because they saw me as privileged and undeserving of that privilege.”
