At a press conference, Adil Khan Durrani revealed that Rakhi wanted to follow the path of Islamic religion. Talking along the same line, Adil shared that he is a normal person with an Islamic background and Rakhi and he met through a common friend in Mumbai. Adil further added that it was Rakhi who continuously used to come to Mysore to meet him, and she slowly observed that Adil is from an Islamic background. Speaking more about the same, Adil stated:
“Rakhi used to continuously come to Mysore. She got to know about my family and business. Slowly and slowly, she observed that I was an Islamic guy. Rakhi knew I come from an Islamic background. When we had conversations, I would tell her, ‘I will call you back as I have to do namaz’.”
