Adnan Sami Shuts Down Trolls On Leaving Pakistan, Compares It To An Ex-Lover Who Can’t ….

Popular singer and composer, Adnan Sami, who has given hit songs like Lift Karadey, Tera Chehra and Bhar Do Jholi Meri, has been living in India for more than 20 years now and in 2016, he got the citizenship of India. But even after so many years, Adnan Sami still receives a lot of hate for giving up his Pakistani citizenship and recently he spoke about that hate and compared it to an ex-lover who just is unable to accept seeing that you have moved on.

Adnan Sami’s reply to years-long trolls

For several years, Adnan Sami has faced criticism and hatred for giving up his Pakistani citizenship and calling India as his home. Trolls often call him a traitor and question his loyalty. In response, Adnan recently compared this hate to an “ex-lover syndrome,” saying that people who haven’t moved on spread negativity. He explained that his decision was personal and based on how badly he was treated by the Pakistani government and not the people. Despite being a known artist, he was never honoured by Pakistan. Now, he proudly calls India his home and continues to create music without any boundaries. In a chat with Bollywood Bubble, he said:

“It’s like an ex-lover. When an ex-lover sees you moving on and getting involved with somebody else, they’ll always come up with reasons to hate you. But the reason why they actually do that is because they still haven’t gotten over you. It’s love, and love manifests in many absurd ways.”
