Silicon Valley is racing to make a strong footing in the artificial intelligence world. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is building his dream team for the company’s newly formed Super Intelligence Lab, and to attract promising minds, he is prepared to offer substantial salaries, ranging between Rs. 800 crore and Rs. 1,600 crore. The aim is to lure artificial intelligence researchers from Apple, OpenAI, Google DeepMind and Anthropic.

For the unversed, it is reported that Meta has offered Rs. 1,600 crore compensation package to Apple’s Ruoming Pang, who has now reported to have joined Mark Zuckerberg’s team. This happened right after reports claimed that Meta offered Rs. 800 crore to Trapit Bansal, a former researcher at OpenAI.
