Amidst it, we got a glimpse of Virat’s leadership skills, which show his evolution and leadership without making a big deal about it.

Virat Kohli’s sweet advice for young cricketers

A video of Virat surfaced on the internet from his training session at the Kotambi Stadium. In the clip, Virat shared a pep talk with a local net bowler before signing a cricket ball for him. Fans loved how calmly the legendary cricketer advised the bowler. The advice showed another grounded side of Kohli, which often gets overlooked. Giving a few experiences from his journey, Virat shared with the local net bowler that even if you get hit, it’s okay, but you should have the conviction that you are delivering the ball which you want to and not the one which the batsman wants you to deliver. He said:

“Agar maar padh bhi jaati hai to koi baat nahi, par conviction se ki main wo ball daal raha hu jo mujhe daalna hai, main wo ball nahi daal raha jo batsman mujhse dalwa raha hai.”
