Earlier, Aishwarya Rai appeared on Simi Garewal’s show, Rendezvous With Simi Garewal, and a video of the same resurfaced on the internet. When the host referred to Shah Rukh Khan and asked Aishwarya, “You were working together in five films. Weren’t you, Aish? Veer Zara was written for you.” Talking about the same, the actress said that she was suddenly removed without an explanation and added:
“There were a couple of films that were supposed to happen with me. But suddenly they weren’t happening, without any reason whatsoever. I have never had the answer to why.”
