Veteran actress, Nalini Saraf popularly known as Seema Deo, left for the heavenly abode at the age of 81. For the unversed, Seema made her debut in the acting industry with the film, Miya Bibi Razi in 1960. Since then, she was part of many Hindi and Marathi films, including Bhabhi Ki Chudiya, Saraswatichandra, Anand, Kora Kagaz, Dream Girl, and others. Seema was last seen in the film, Jetaa, in 2010.

On August 24, 2023, Seema Deo passed away after suffering from age-related ailments for a long period of time. Seema, who was 81 years old, also had Alzheimer’s. She was living in Bandra with her son and famous director, Abhinay Deo, before breathing for the last time.
