For the unversed, the film stars Ayushmann Khurrana as the main protagonist, and is a sequel to the 2019 film by the same name. Taking to her IG handle on September 12, 2023, Ananya Panday announced a happy moment in her career, as her film, Dream Girl 2 surpassed the 100-crore mark at the box office. Dropping a BTS scene from one of her dance sequences in the film, along with a snap of her and Ayushmann, Ananya captioned the post as:
