Ankita Gupta rose to stardom with his portrayal of ‘Fateh’ in the popular Colors TV serial, Udaariyaan, produced by Sargun Mehta and Ravi Dubey. As soon as his character was dropped from the show, the actor was singed by Sargun for another show called Junooniyatt. In Farah Khan’s vlog, where Ankit was her recent guest, he revealed that since there were 3-4 months before Junooniyatt‘s shooting process would start, Sargun asked him to join another show in the meantime. Ankit was asked to either join Khatron Ke Khiladi, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, or Bigg Boss 16.
