Arjun Bijlani Reveals Facing Financial Crisis During Early Days Of Career, ‘Sold My Mom’s Gold…’

Arjun Bijlani is a popular name in the Indian television industry. He has given hit shows like Miley Jab Hum Tum, Pardes Mein Mila Koi, Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi and more. The powerful actor recently opened up about a painful and emotional chapter of his life, in which he addressed issues that he faced after his father’s death. He also spoke about how he was once cheated by a close friend, who ran away with almost Rs. 35 lakhs. Read on to know more about the challenges Arjun has faced. 

Arjun Bijlani’s financial crisis

Recently, Arjun Bijlani sat down for a candid conversation with Siddharth Kanan, in which he spoke about how his life turned upside down when he lost his father at the age of 19. He mentioned that the family, who once lived comfortably in South Mumbai, now had to shift to a 1BHK. He explained that, once he used to travel in cars to give auditions, but now he used to take Rs. 100 from his mother to travel by train for auditions. He shared: 

“Our financial life was over. From an amazing life, it was a complete 360 turn. We used to live in town and that house…but we had to shift from Mahim, like I studied in Bombay Scottish and HR College and suddenly I was in Malad and living in a 1bhk on rent with my mom and brother. There I would take Rs 100 from my mom to travel in train to give auditions. Earlier, we would travel in a car and it all happened overnight. We had sell our own 2bhk house in town in Mumbai. We even had to sell our car. Everything was just gone.”
