Singer Asha Bhosle has criticised the trend of remixing old songs, commenting that music directors and singers lack the ability to create something new. Speaking about the reprised version of classic ‘Jhumka Gira Re’ in Karan Johar’s latest film, she explained that the combination of lyrics, singers and music in old songs created impact, with old lyricists and composers fighting over every word.
