Bollywood actor and vlogger, Ashish Vidyarthi hogged the limelight after reports surfaced that he and his second wife, Rupali Barua, had met with a road accident. Reports mentioned that it was on the late night of December 2, 2025, when Ashish and his wife were involved in a road accident in Guwahati while crossing a street post-dinner at Zoo Road, near The Guwahati Address Hotel. Now, Ashish has given an official update on his and his wife, Rupali’s, health.

Ashish and his wife, Rupali, were hit by a speeding motorcycle. The couple was trying to cross the road when the alleged incident happened. Now, a while back, the actor took to Instagram to speak about the incident and reveal details about the accident. He told his fans that there was nothing to sensationalise, as they were both fine. Rupali has been kept under observation after receiving a minor injury. Ashish in the video said:
“Main ek ajeeb se time par live kar raha hoon, just to let you all know. Because main abhi dekh raha hoon bahut se news channels mein kya kya aa raha hain. Rupali and I were crossing the street yesterday and a bike hit us. We both are fine. Rupali is under observation. All is well, I am good. Chhota sa chot aya hai, but absolutely fine.”
