In a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Avinash Sachdev revealed that he had been with Rubina for four and a half years. He shared that their relationship was really good till the time the duo was working in Choti Bahu, after which they both started working on different projects. During this time, their relationship started going downhill, and Rubina became very insecure and possessive.
