The comedian pair, Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa welcomed their baby boy, Laksh Limbachiyaa, into their lives on April 3, 2022. Since then, they have often teased their fans with cutesy glimpses from their kids’ lives, and it’s simply priceless. Coming to Bharti’s pregnancy and post-delivery stories, she has always been vocal about her journey and has time and again opened up about her experience. For the unversed, the comedienne worked throughout her pregnancy, and despite having a C-section delivery, Bharti resumed work within 14 days.
Bharti Singh reveals how she managed her pregnancy and career together
Now, as Bharti Singh graced her friend from Telly-Town, Rubina Dilaik’s chat show, Kisine Bataya Nahi: The Mamacado Show, she spoke at length about her pregnancy days. On being asked how she could manage her career and pregnancy, she mentioned that everything depends upon a woman’s choices. Describing her story, she mentioned taking inspiration from the women in Punjab. Further, revealing how she revealed the news of her pregnancy to her family, Bharti said:
“When I was pregnant, I saw in Punjab that pregnant women are working. But here I saw the culture that pregnant women don’t work. I decided not to take help form anybody when I would get pregnant. For 4 months, none of our families knew about it. I got a cake with pink and blue shoes on it. My family didn’t get it. They thought it’s someone’s birthday. They were shocked to know that I had been working. Your pregnancy, your career, only you can manage. Nobody can advise you on that. You can listen to others, but you have to decide what you want to do. Today when I see Gola, I feel I did the right thing.”
