The music-savvy walked down memory lane and recalled how her grandmother used to sing the original Iranian version of this song when she was a kid, which is why she is well familiar with the song. Shahnaaz said:
“Both my grandparents belong to Iran and my grandma used to sing the original version of this same Jamaloo Kudu, Iranian song ever since I was a little kid. Since then, I know this song very well.”
