BTS’ V Revealed The K-pop Girl Group Member Who Inspired His First Solo Album, ‘Layover’

Bangtan Sonyeondan, aka BTS, is undoubtedly the most popular boy band in the world. Each band member is equally famous and has a massive army of fans eagerly waiting for their new releases. The band is soaring the success meters like no other, and alongside each member of BTS, they are also working on their solo albums. BTS singer, Kim Tae-Hyunk, aka V is all set to release his first solo album, Layover in September 2023. Taking about the same, V, in a recent interview, revealed that a particular female member of a girl band was the biggest inspiration behind his upcoming debut solo album, Layover.

In a recent interview with W Korea, V revealed that he wanted to explore different sides of music and provide his audience with something he hadn’t done before. For that, he collaborated with Min Hee Jin, the designer of the 2013 album, Pink Tape. Min Hee Jin is also the CEO of the entertainment company, Ador. Talking about the collaboration, V further added:

“I wanted to show a different side of my music compared to my past works and collaborating seemed like the best way to achieve that. Our collaborative discussions were productive, encompassing every detail, and the entire collaboration process was seamless.”
