Charu Asopa has been making most of her time enjoyable at work, ever since she resumed shooting with the television serial, Kaisa Yeh Rishta Anjanasa. For the unversed, the actress has gone through a lot in her personal life, after her ugly spat and subsequent divorce with her ex-husband, Rajeev Sen grabbed a lot of media attention. Currently, Charu is balancing her hectic schedule along with her mommy duties for her 18-month-old daughter, Ziana.
Charu Asopa shares how it was difficult for her to survive in Mumbai in the initial years
In a recent interview with ETimes, Charu Asopa opened up on her struggles, when she stepped into Mumbai with dreams of becoming an actress. She revealed that she was joined by her full family when she came from Bikaner. She also mentioned how she was frequently joined by her mother for auditions, since everyone was apprehensive about the industry. In her words:
“When I had left Bikaner, I only had dreams in my eyes. When I first came to Mumbai, my entire family came with me. I got a house on rent and after I settled, my father and brother left. My mother stayed back and would accompany me to the auditions and meetings. We had heard so much about the industry that she didn’t want to leave me alone.”
