August 8, 2023, marked the 10th anniversary of Rohit Shetty’s directional film, Chennai Express. And to make the day even more special, Deepika Padukone dropped a cutesy throwback video with her darling hubby, Ranveer Singh on her Instagram handle. In the video, the lovebirds can be seen shelling out some major couple goals as they recreated a famous scene from the film. Undoubtedly, the much-in-love couple looked mesmerising and a match-made-in heaven. Along with the video, Deepika penned a short note, which can be read as:
“They say that comedy is the most difficult genre for an actor. So when I was offered ‘Chennai Express’, I knew I had a daunting challenge ahead of me. And while it took me a little while to find Meenama, a process that is extremely lonely and often times frightening, I’m grateful that we were able to create a character that is not only synonymous with the movie but also one that continues to receive an abundance of love till this date.”
