Dharmendra has shared the big screen with his sons, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, in several films, including the family favourites, Apne and Yamla Pagla Deewana. In a recent interview, the infamous Gadar director, Anil Sharma, who has worked with the legendary actor and ‘He-man’ of Bollywood, Dharmendra, on numerous occasions in the 1980s, recalled an anecdote from the shoot of the film, Apne. Anil shared that during the shoot, the veteran actor would pull his sons’ legs, making them awkward with his jokes. He shared that, at times, Dharmendra’s jabs would make Sunny and Bobby run away.
