Dia Mirza is married to businessman, Vaibhav Rekhi, and is a stepmother to his daughter, Samaira, from his previous marriage. In a new interview with The Official People of India, the actress discussed how she feels fortunate not to have read fairy tales which portray stepmother or stepfather as evil figures. Dia shared a funny insight related to that memory. She revealed that her stepdaughter was also influenced by those stories and saved her number as ‘not yet evil stepmother’ in her contacts. Recalling the memory, Dia said:
“This brings me to Samaira, who has saved my number on her phone as – Dia, not yet the evil stepmother. That’s what fairy tales do, right? I wonder if she’s changed the description under my name.”
