Dia Mirza shares she was rejected just because she ‘looked good’
In a recent interaction with Bollywood Bubble, Dia Mirza opened up about facing rejections in the film industry. While she didn’t come from any privileged, filmy background, therefore she had to earn her way into the film industry. Speaking along the same lines, Dia mentioned how she was frequently rejected by a number of A-listed filmmakers, just because she was good-looking. Adding how these filmmakers, now on the contrary, approach her for work, Dia mentioned:
“There are lots of wonderful directors who I’d give my heart for and I would love to work with. They haven’t cast me because they think I look too good. But it’s okay, it’s fine. But I have to say this there’s been an update in life since. Those same directors now want to work with me.”
