Dimple Kapadia is one of Bollywood‘s renowned actresses who continues to be part of many hit movies even now. Dimple made her acting debut at the age of 14 with the 1973 film, Bobby, co-starring Rishi Kapoor. The film gained her immense stardom, and following this, she appeared in several movies, including Saagar, Ram Lakhan, Rudaali, Dil Chahta Hai, Tenet and Pathaan. However, there was one such incident when Dimple rejected a film alongside Amitabh Bachchan. For the same, she also regretted it later.

It was in 1985 when Dimple Kapadia rejected a movie with Amitabh Bachchan. However, she also regretted her decision later. The film was Manmohan Desai-directorial Mard, which, after getting rejected by Dimple, started Amitabh Bachchan, Amrita Singh, Dara Singh, Prem Chopra and many others. Revealing the reasons behind her decision in an interview with Filmfare, Dimple was also heard praising the Deewar actor for his onscreen presence and personality. Dimple mentioned that Amitabh has impeccable timing and said:

“Amitabh is undoubtedly the best. No one has his kind of range and style. And above all, he has impeccable timing, the hallmark of a great actor.”
