Recently, the title and release date of the upcoming comedy-drama were announced through a collaborative Instagram post by Disney and the official page of the Ice Age movie. Through that, the makers confirmed that the movie’s production is in works and will hit the theatres next year. A new poster has also been released, generating excitement among fans.
Ice Age 6‘s title and release date have been announced
Disney officially announced the sixth film in the Ice Age franchise, at the Destination D23 event in Orlando in August 2025. The movie is titled Ice Age: Boiling Point, and is scheduled to hit the big screens on February 5, 2027, which is a slight delay from an earlier reported date of December 2026. The beloved franchise has a dedicated set of fans, who can’t keep calm since the release date and poster of the upcoming movie have been dropped.
