The report stated that Sonia has had a history of chronic cough and has been visiting the hospital frequently due to the high pollution in the city of Delhi. A hospital source, in an interview with PTI speaking on Sonia’s health condition, revealed:

“She is doing fine and has been kept under observation of a chest physician. It is a routine admission, but she has this problem of chronic cough, and she keeps coming for checkups, especially with this pollution in the city.”
