Ed Sheeran Shares Being Approached For ‘Tum Hi Ho’ Collab With Arijit Singh, ‘I Just Loved It..’

Perfect singer, Ed Sheeran, is a big fan of Bollywood, and he made a new revelation which will surely stun his fans. They did not see it coming as Ed revealed that there was a time when he was called to collaborate with Arijit Singh on his chartbuster track, Tum Hi Ho. The song had become the love anthem of the time, which featured ex-couple, Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor from Aashiqui 2. However, the project that Ed had to lead did not materialise, but it did mark the beginning of a friendship between two of the greatest voices in the world.

Ed Sheeran shared how he was once asked to collaborate on Tum Hi Ho

Ed sat down for an interview with BBC Asian Network and shared that he was given an offer to work with Arijit on a version of the Aashiqui 2 song, Tum Hi Ho (2013). He shared his feelings, spellbound by the romantic song, and said he had no idea if the film for which the song was created was even in production. Ed shared:

“There was one time I met with T-Series. And they wanted me to do a version of Tum Hi Ho with Arijit for a movie. I don’t know whether it’s being made or whether I am dropping people in it. But this was a while ago. So, they sent me Tum Hi Ho.”
