However, putting every other speculation to an end, Esha not only wholeheartedly came forward to support and praise Sunny’s latest film, but also revealed several anecdotes about the bond they share, which hinted at everything being well.
Esha Deol says she doesn’t want to justify her relationship with Sunny Deol in public
In a recent interview with ETimes, Esha Deol spoke her mind about the ongoing buzz, indicating a feud between her and her half-brother, Sunny Deol. Esha specifically mentioned that despite all that has been circulating about the situation, she doesn’t want to go that extra mile and put everything in clear record publicly. Moreover, she even reminded that her coming aboard to support Sunny’s film and posing together with him was not a publicity stunt, and was merely something organic and came out of true love and respect for her brother. In her words:
“Honestly, the picture happened very organically. It was not planned. We are very private as a family. We are very respectful towards each other. I feel that whether I tie him Rakhi or not is none of anyone else’s business. But I think because we are actors, people want to do that moment I have been tying rakhi to my brothers since I was a kid and we continue doing so. But we are not here to prove to people. Like I said, the photo at ‘Gadar 2’ screening happened very organically. That was a beautiful moment and we saw the audience and the public getting emotional about it. But for us, we have a lot of pictures together in our family, I think.”
