The brutal murder case of Raja Raghuvanshi, which made national headlines in June 2025, is making headlines once again, but for a different reason. Months after the incident that shocked the nation, a film based on this has been announced. It will be titled, Honeymoon in Shillong and will be made by the filmmaker, SP Nimbawat.
SP Nimbawat talks about the film, Honeymoon in Shillong
In a conversation with Hindustan Times, the filmmaker of this film, SP Nimbawat, shared his thoughts and said that this is one of the biggest subjects in recent times. He also shared that, if not him, somebody else would definitely make a film on this subject. In his words:
“Dil mein dard to sabhi ke tha; this is one of the biggest subjects in recent times, and if not me someone else would have made the film. It’s a complete package of relationship, marriage, murder, adventure and the entire nation has followed it.”
