The story of Gustaakh Ishq revolves around ‘Nawabuddin’ (played by Vijay Varma), who tries his level best to save his late father’s printing press, in order to honour his legacy. During this process, he comes across some unpublished poetry written by a solitary poet, ‘Aziz Beg’ (played by Naseeruddin Shah). When ‘Nawabuddin’ goes to meet ‘Aziz’ in order to convince him to publish those poems, he crosses paths with his daughter, ‘Minni’ (played by Fatima Sana Shaikh).
