Raza Murad recalls a heated confrontation that led to a legal battle
In a recent interview with ANI News, Raza Murad shared intriguing incidents about legendary Bollywood actor Raaj Kumar. Reflecting on the Pakeezah actor’s early days in the industry, Raza Murad recounted a tragic and controversial episode. While Raaj Kumar was at Mumbai’s Juhu Beach with a friend and his girlfriend, a man made an inappropriate remark about the woman. Enraged, Raaj Kumar beat the man so severely that he eventually succumbed to his injuries. Recalling the legal battle that followed, Raza Murad shared:
“Once, Raaj sir was at Juhu beach with a friend and his girlfriend. Someone passed a bad comment about the lady, and Raaj sir got so angry that he beat the man so badly that he died. nd there was a murder case against Raaj sahab. Because my father was a very good friend of his, he would go to every court hearing to support him. It was a long case, but he was acquitted in the end. The whole ordeal took several months.”
