‘Hijack,’ featuring Idris Elba, is returning with its second season on January 14, 2026. The first installment left a positive impression in 2023, portraying a corporate business negotiator, ‘Sam Nelson,’ trying to save the passengers of a flight who are being threatened by a group of hijackers, led by ‘Stuart Atterton.’
Makers were praised for adding entertaining and thrilling elements to a familiar premise. All of these made the show an interesting watch with seven episodes. The arrest of the main villains could have led to an end, with no possibilities of a renewal. But that did not happen as ‘Sam’ will face a different situation this time, except that it won’t be in the air like what we witnessed before.
