Hollywood Star, Val Kilmer Known For ‘Top Gun’ And ‘Batman Forever’ Dies At The Age Of 65

Hollywood has lost another great star, as The New York Times reported, renowned actor, Val Kilmer passed away at 65. He was known for playing the roles of ‘Tom Iceman Kazansky’ with Tom Cruise in the iconic film, Top Gun in 1986 and ‘Batman’ in Batman Forever, which had a special place in the hearts of fans. For the last few years, fans have been missing him in action, and the news about his death has left them and his colleagues from the industry in shock.

Val Kilmer entertained us with his films, and his action-packed roles with an emotional quotient made an important part of our childhood. But, in his real-life, the actor himself struggled due to his health complications. He was diagnosed with Throat cancer back in 2014, which affected his speaking abilities. When Val featured in a special documentary on his life where he was seen using a breathing tube in 2021, highlighting how his illness impacted his life. In a conversation with The New York Times, his daughter, Mercedes Kilmer, revealed that the cause of death of the actor was Pneumonia.
