Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter are well known for their roles as siblings in the show, Dexter. However, it was their unexpected romance that gained them a space in every headline. The duo met in 2006 on the set of the show, where they portrayed foster siblings on the hit Showtime drama. They fell in love during the shoot and, nearly two years later, eloped on New Year’s Eve in 2008. However, things turned for the happy couple when Michael was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
The cancer tested both their bond and their faith, but Jennifer Carpenter stood by Michael Hall emotionally and publicly.
