Pima County Sheriff, Chris Nanos breaks the silence around Tommaso Cioni’s role in the Nancy Guthrie case

Pima County Sheriff, Chris Nanos recently sat down for a conversation with Fox News, addressing the internet buzz linking Tommaso Cioni to Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance. He acknowledged that he understands it is common that people close to a missing victim come under scrutiny, especially if they were the last to see that person. However, he highlighted that the attention does not mean that the person is certainly guilty in the case. Sharing how it is sensitive and unfair to accuse Tommaso Cioni without any proof, the Sheriff said:

“I understand the pundits are out there. They’re gonna say, well, he’s the last one to see her alive. We understand that stuff. But, my goodness, you’re putting a mark on somebody who could be completely innocent. And more important than that, he’s family.”
