And many users even compared the film to Ranbir Kapoor’s Bombay Velvet.
Yash plays the role of ‘Raya’ in Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups
Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups is one of the most anticipated films of 2026. This is even more the case for die-hard Yash fans who have waited for the actor to return to the big screen since the success of his 2022 blockbuster, KGF: Chapter 2. The film, directed by Geetu Mohandas, released its posters last week, which gave viewers a sneak peek into the overall vibe and what they can expect from Toxic. However, it was only after the teaser dropped today, on January 8, 2026, that it sent fans into a frenzy, with Yash being introduced as ‘Raya’. The studio captioned the teaser, “Get a good look at your danger – Introducing RAYA”. It is worth mentioning that one of the reasons the makers chose to reveal the clip today is that it coincides with Yash’s 40th birthday.
