After getting glimpses of their characters in the teaser and music video of Pardesiya, people have found the on-screen couple lacking in chemistry. Many X users believe the pairing doesn’t look good in the song due to the age gap between the two. One netizen made a scathing tweet against their pairing and stated that Saiyaara became a huge success because people want to see young couples on screen. Talking about Janhvi and Sidharth’s age gap, the X user wrote:
“The chemistries just don’t hit these days. The 12 years of age gap between them is so damn visible man. I guess thats one of the main reasons why Saiyaara did so well, people are starving to see actual young people on screen again.”
