Kabir Bedi recently sat for an interview with Siddharth Kannan and recalled the time, when he was shooting for another project in Hawaii. During the shoot, he got a call from renowned filmmaker, Rakesh Roshan, who wanted to cast him in his film, Khoon Bhari Maang. Kabir shared how the director couldn’t find any actor, who is okay with playing the role of both hero and villain on-screen. Recalling the old times, Kabir said:
“Khoon Bhari Maang is the film I am most known for. The film was a superhit. I was shooting for another series, called Magnum PI, in Hawaii when I received a call from Rakesh Roshan. He offered me the role of a hero in his film. He then told me that the hero becomes the villain in the movie, and no other hero was willing to do this. He also shared that starring another villain would have no surprise element, which is why he told me only I could play hero and a villain.”
