Some reports stated that Kajal Pisal has been roped in to play the role of ‘Jethalal’s’ wife. Her look from the shows’ sets also went viral on Instagram. Now, Kajal herself has squashed the rumours that have been circulating. Fans of TMKOC are eager to know who would replace Disha Vakani who created a space in the minds of her fans with her role as ‘Daya’
Kajal Pisal strongly reacts to rumours about her playing ‘Daya Ben’ in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah
It has been a decade since Disha played the role of ‘Daya’. Her standard dialogue of calling ‘Jethalal’ as, “Tappu ke papa” is still missed. She went on a maternity break since 2017 and ever since then never came back. Asit had even confirmed that there was no scope for the actress to make a comeback and shared rumours of selecting someone for the epic role after auditions. Kajal, now in a recent interview with Zoom shared:
“I am already working on Jhanak, so this is entirely incorrect. Yes, I did audition for Daya Ben in 2022, and those pictures are resurfacing now. But as of now, I can confirm that this is totally fake news.”
