Kajol Felt Left Out On ‘Ishq’ Set As Aamir, Juhi And Director Bonded Well, ‘I Cant Be Talking..’

Ishq, released in 1997, continues to remain one of the most loved comedy films in Bollywood. Directed by Indra Kumar, the film had a stellar cast, including Aamir Khan, Juhi Chawla, Kajol and Ajay Devgn. Whether it was the hilarious jokes, fun characters, heartwarming romantic scenes or catchy songs, everything about Ishq has become memorable over time. Even the on-screen chemistry between the actors became a talking point around the film, but in a recent interview, Kajol left everyone surprised after she revealed that she felt ‘left out’ while shooting for the film.

Kajol reveals sometimes she didn’t feel like talking on the sets of Ishq

Kajol sat down for an interview with The Mashable and recalled her experience of working on the 1997 film, Ishq. Known for her bubbly, cheerful, talkative and honest personality, the actress surprised fans by sharing that she used to feel isolated while working on that multistarrer film. She mentioned that Aamir Khan and Juhi Chawla, who were also part of the cast, used to share a close bond with the film’s director, Indra Kumar. The close-knit bond had sometimes left her feeling like an outsider. She said:

“Aamir was very friendly with the director, and so was Juhi, so these three were a close-knit group and then there was Ajay and me. And eventually, it was just me. There were certain days on set when I was not willing to talk to anybody.”
