The strong plot of the movie with the core of friendship won millions of hearts, and it made its way to Cannes. The entire team of Homebound reached the French Riviera to attend the premiere of the movie, which was presented at the Un Certain Regard section of the 2025 Cannes. Well, after making it to the prestigious film festival, the movie, Homebound made it to the headlines for all the wrong reasons. 

Dharma Production issues statement as Homebound cinematographer, Pratik Shah gets accused of s**ual misconduct

Recently, Karan Johar’s Dharma Production issued a statement, as reports claimed that Homebound cinematographer Pratik Shah, who is known for his work in movies like Jubeliee and CTRL, was accused of s**ual misconduct. As per the statement from Dharma Production, they have a zero-tolerance policy for any kind of inappropriate behaviour on the sets, along with s**ual harassment, to those who work with them, and they deal with such cases in a serious note. The statement from Dharma Production can be read as:

“At Dharma Productions, we have a zero tolerance policy against inappropriate behavior and sexual harassment towards any individual working with us in any capacity, and we treat sexual harassment cases very seriously.”
