In a recent interview, KL Rahul talked about Athiya’s superstitious beliefs and her reaction when he tore his quadricep tendon. During a conversation with Stars Sports, the 31-year-old cricketer revealed his wife was furious when he injured himself while he was playing. He said:
“She was more frustrated and angry than I was. I found myself trying to keep her calm as it was the first time, she was seeing me go through something like this. It was tough for both of us, but it also gave us the time that we needed together.”
