Ektaa Kapoor’s cult classic hit show, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, came back with the reboot version on July 29, 2025. The star cast has been the same, mostly with Smriti Irani playing the role of ‘Tulsi Virani’, and Amar Upadhyay playing the role of ‘Mihir Virani’. Now, Amar turned a year older on August 1, 2025, and Smriti took to her Instagram feed to post the sweetest birthday video for her on-screen husband, Amar a.k.a ‘Mihir’. Smriti and Amar have sent fans on a nostalgic meltdown as the show returned with a bang on season 2.

Smriti’s chemistry with Amar has been heartwarming ever since the inception of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Now, a while back, a video went viral on social media where Smriti revealed that she never took to her Instagram to ever wish ‘Mihir’ a.k.a Amar on his birthday. She made a selfie video that looked like from the sets of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2, wearing a signature green saree with a bindi and her electric smile. Amar entered the frame in the end, and Smriti had the most adorable wish on Amar’s janamdin and confessing that she never wished him in this manner on Instagram. In the video, she said:
