Recently, a small aircraft, Beechcraft B200 Super King Air, crashed on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the London Southend Airport. According to a report by Zeusch Aviation, the plane involved in the crash was heading to Southend and had flown from Athens, Greece, to Pula, Croatia. It was set to return to Lelystad, Netherlands. Essex Police officials were alerted about the serious incident just before 4 p.m. at the airport. The plane was all set for the takeoff position, and the pilot even waved to his family, who told him bye one last time. However, the cost of the small aircraft was in millions.

Reportedly, the Beechcraft B200 Super King Air was equipped with medical systems for transporting patients, and the British media reported that it is 12 metres long, approximately 39 feet. According to a report by The Independent, the aircraft is around USD 1.47 million, which is equivalent to Rs. 12.29 crore. According to the report, the plane can accommodate six passengers along with two cabin crew members. In length, the cabin stretches around 17 feet and has a cruising speed which is of 285 miles every hour or also called 290 knots.
