In a recent podcast with Ranveer Allahbadia, Madhuri Dixit shared that her sons had zero knowledge about her stardom as they grew up outside India. It was only after they came to India, Madhuri’s sons got to know about her popularity as an actress. Recalling their first reaction, Madhuri said that one day she and her family went to a movie theatre. She mentioned that after her son came to know that she is a star, they also started watching her films. Their friends also excitedly told them lucky to be her son. She was quoted as saying:
“They knew nothing until we got back to India. One day, we went to watch a movie together, and when we came out of the theatre, there were photographers on a clicking spree. They were so confused, asking me, ‘Mom, what is this? They were always into cartoons or superhero films and didn’t understand Hindi. Only now they have started speaking Hindi and Marathi.”
