Roopa Chatterjee’s turbulent personal life
Away from the limelight of her professional success, Roopa Ganguly always tried to keep her personal life tucked away. However, unlike her smooth sailing career, her personal life was everything turbulent. The actress got married to Dhrubo Mukherjee, a mechanical engineer in 1992. The couple welcomed their son, Aakash in 1997. However, their marital life hit rock bottom, with frequent fights and abuses. And finally, they separated in 2007. Thereafter, Roopa was in a live-in relationship with a young Bengali singer, Dibyendu Mukherjee. Unfortunately, this time too, troubles crept up between the two and they decided to call it a splitsville.
