Masaba Gupta reveals what it meant to grow up as the daughter of celebrity parents
In a recent interview with Twinkle Khanna on her chat show, Tweak India, Masaba Gupta reflected on her life and expressed what it meant for her to grow up as the daughter of massively talented celebrity parents, Neena Gupta and Vivian Richards. She mentioned how people assumed that she was blessed with a lot of wealth, as her parents made tons of money, whereas, on the contrary, she needed to build everything for herself. In her words:
“I was very grateful that I had what I had. Everyone tells me, ‘Oh you’ve become successful because of your mum and your dad’. Someone apparently told a friend once that, ‘What does she have to do. Her dad left her hundreds of crores’. I said no, there’s no hundreds of crores. They are being built, but I am building that myself.”
