The audition for the much-loved American reality TV talent show, America’s Got Talent, has been going on. For the unversed, this is one of the most loved reality shows, which is joined by people all over the world, be it from any background, including dance, song, magic or more, who show their talents in front of the judges, and then move forward to the live show, from where the winner gets selected. Recently, judge Howie Mandel pressed his final golden buzzer for an Indian dance crew, UnReal, who performed on the song, Bairi Piya from Devdas, setting fire on the stage.
The dance form they performed looked incredibly realistic, and it was an amalgamation of technicality and animated moves. And the way they have shown the skills on the stage so swiftly that it was next to impossible not to scream ‘OMG’ with every second of their performance for the audience, judges and even for us. Dance crew, UnReal: Formed in Jaipur, won a show judged by Kareena Kapoor before bagging the golden buzzer in AGT
The dance crew, UnReal, is from Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. The exact date of this group’s formation isn’t known, but based on some information, it’s speculated that around 2019, UnReal was formed. Their breakthrough came as they won the title of Dance Indian Dance 7, a dance reality show, which was judged by Kareena Kapoor Khan, Bosco Martis, and Raftaar. The crew took home the winner’s prize along with Rs. 5 lakh. They were a part of the ‘North Ka Nawabs’ team and were mentored by choreographer Bhawna Khanduja.
