Her ex-boyfriend and guitarist, Zane Carney, recently took to his Instagram handle and revealed that he was shocked to hear of Michelle’s passing. He shared their pictures from childhood together on the sitcom, Dave’s World. Zane shared that he developed a big crush on the late actress after watching her in, Harriet the Spy and wished to make her, his girlfriend. He was surprised when she turned up as a guest on his sitcom. Recalling their fun together as kids, he penned:
