Mitchell Marsh belongs to the iconic ‘Marsh Family’, which has produced two iconic players for the Australian cricket team, Geoff Marsh (his father) and Shaun Marsh (his elder brother). Right from their early childhood, Shaun and Mitchell had a strong inclination towards cricket, all thanks to their father, Geoff Marsh, the first player to win the World Cup as both a cricketer and a coach. While Mitchell’s father is a cricketing legend, his elder brother, Shaun, also had a 23-year-long eventful career, which ended when he hung up his gloves in January 2024.
